We're having a BABY SHOWER!!
We have well over 100 kittens currently in our care and we need supplies and donations!! Hamburger Mary's was a great success, but we only covered 65% of our expenses with adoption fees in 2012, the rest MUST come from fundraising efforts.
We'll be collecting 'baby' supplies every Saturday in June during normal adoption hours. Monetary donations can be sent to Mariposa Wellness Center (see address above) or donated below via PayPal. All monetary donations will be used completely for medical and nourishment for our kittens. Help little Phoebe (pictured) out!

To encourage the adoption of 2, we offer the second cat or kitten at 1/2 the normal minimum adoption donation.

Our Adoptables: All of our cats and kittens stay in foster homes during the week. We bring them to Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center (MVWC) on Saturdays.
Please come to our adoption center at MVWC on Saturdays from noon to 5. We'd love to show you our selection of adoptables! Go to "contact us" for directions. Our adoptables are up-to-date on shots and wormings, tested for feline leukemia, spayed or neutered and come with a complimentary well-visit with one of our participating veterinary clinics, whom we thank for all their assistance. |
Our Goal..We
want to help you find the perfect feline match. We have many kittens
and cats available for adoption at this time with adoption fees as low
as $60 for a fully vetted cat and $95 for a fully vetted kitten.
Who We Are.... KITTYCITYKS@AOL.COM! Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a no-kill 501 C3 non-profit group of rescuers and individuals who have an affinity for cats. We take special needs kittens and cats from various area shelters and occasionally the public, that are too young or ill to thrive in the traditional shelter environment. We also specialize in Siamese, Maine Coon and other mixes. We then place them in foster homes and nurture them until they are old enough and healthy enough to be adopted. Since many of the animals we take in are very small or many times ill, monetary support is always needed to help with medical expenses. Or just make a general donation. Since we are an all volunteer group....all monetary donations go towards the care of the animals...not pay checks!!! |
